The Fideli Group Rebrand & Site Design
The Fideli Group is a collection of talented insurance experts in the Cleveland Ohio area that specializes in risk management and employee benefits solutions. I had the opportunity to work with their internal marketing team to elevate the brand aesthetic. Turning what was once a dull, utilitarian design into a dynamic and engaging experience.
I took the companies original palette that consisted of an antique gold, that resembled a dull tan on screen, and brought it into the modern age. Turning the subtle tan into an energetic yellow that pops on screen and urges the user to take action. This gave the site a sense of excitement and energy that it lacked before. This along with the development of a two-color icon system added a much-needed sense of optimism and life into the site.
The fonts were chosen to adhere to the companies rich and trusted past while adding a sense of style and readability to the new site. A playful serif does a nice job of portraying professionalism and speaks to the friendliness you will find in a business relationship with The Fideli team.
I was tasked with creating an interactive infographic to quickly explain what makes The Fideli Group unique in their industry. Using the company pillars as visual markers, along with bold hover states, this message was portrayed all while the user got a little eye candy from the animated dial.
In working with the Fideli team and discussing all the different areas in which they do business it became clear that representing these areas with imagery would be problematic. Not only would they have to source/pay for quality images for these sections but to display them all in one place as a way of navigation would get bulky and far too long on a page. The best solution to this problem would be to create an icon system. This would be more visually dramatic and lend itself better in assisting the user with navigation. A two-color system was created to further push the aesthetic of the brand.
As with any site that has been designed in the last however many years this site is responsive. I will not bore you by pretending this is revolutionary. I most certainly will not make you pay for a conference and spat this information at you as if its groundbreaking information. I just thought you might like to see the designs displayed on different devices. :)
